Privacy Policy

Snap the Night is run by ELEV8 AI SOLUTIONS & SERVICES LLC ("we"). It lets an event host collect the photos and videos their guests take, using one QR code. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: support@elev8ai.org.
Who sees uploads
Photos and videos guests upload are private to the event's host (and a co-host the host invites). Guests cannot see each other's uploads. Files are stored privately and are only shown through links that expire after one hour. We do not sell, publish, or use uploads for advertising or AI training, and we do not run face recognition on them.
What we collect
- Hosts: your email address (to sign you in with an emailed link), the events you create, and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Guests: the photos and videos you choose to upload, an optional name, a random ID stored in your browser so your uploads stay grouped, and your browser and device type (so we can fix upload problems on specific phones). If you ask for the album, we store the email you enter and your confirmation that you are 13 or older.
- No accounts for guests. Guests never sign up and are never tracked across sites. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Each paid event gives the host 30 days of access. When access ends the event locks, and seven days later every photo and video in it, along with guest names and album emails, is permanently deleted, unless the host pays to extend. Hosts can also delete any single file, or their whole account, at any time.
Emails
Hosts get sign-in links and reminders before their access ends. Guests who opt in get one email with the album link only if the host chooses to share it. No marketing email is sent to guests.
Service providers
- Cloudflare R2 (file storage)
- Supabase (database and host sign-in)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Resend (sending emails)
- Stripe (payments)
They process data only to run this service for us.
Children
Photos at events can include children. Uploads stay private to the host as described above. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from anyone under 13; the album email requires confirming you are 13 or older.
Your choices
Hosts can delete files or their account in the app (how to delete your account). Guests who want an upload removed can ask the host, or email us with the event name and we will help.
